The Humboldt Library Foundation is an independent nonprofit corporation, dedicated to the support of our public libraries. Founded in 1997, it works in cooperation with the Humboldt County Library Director and Friends of the Library groups throughout the county to provide stable long-term funding support for library needs.
The mission of the Humboldt Library Foundation is to enhance the programs, services and continuing development of the Humboldt County Public Libraries by:
- Improving the quality of library services countywide
- Expanding the use of technology
- Sponsoring cultural and educational offerings
The Humboldt Library Foundation Vision:
- Open the world to a library that is more than a warehouse for books and materials.
- Open the world to a library that is an active educational and cultural center.
- Open the world to a library that celebrates the triumphs of the human condition.
The Humboldt Library Foundation has established an endowment to realize this vision. HLF funds are managed by the Humboldt Area Foundation. For more information, contact us. |
